Are you running in this year's Boston Marathon or want to honor someone who is? Check out some ways to carry forward Shannon's path while running the 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boston.
#1 - Join other Shannon's Path "Team Members" in a friendly competition on our Fundraising Page
Using our new fundraising platform, set up a team to raise money for Shannon's Path and share your story with family/friends. Tell others why you are running and ask them to post their stories as well. Click here to access the page and then follow the steps below:
1. Create your team - select the highlighted "Fundraise" button
2. Sign up or Login and then fill in the fields on the next screen - then share the link!
#2 - Create your own Facebook Fundraiser
You've probably seen friends create fundraisers on Facebook in honor of their birthday, but did you know you can organize a fundraising page at any time of the year? If you're running the Boston Marathon and want to support Shannon's Path, it's very easy to set up your own fundraiser and share with family and friends to ask them to support your cause. 100% of all donations are paid directly to our organization.

#3 - Donate in honor of a runner
If you know someone running the marathon this year, making a donation to Shannon's Path is a great way to honor their achievement. Recognize their hard work on our Boston Marathon page by making a gift in their honor and sharing their hard work with the Shannon's Path community (optional).
1. Click "Donate" button at the top of the page
2. Write a public message of support to post on our feed (optional)
3. Select the "Give in honor/memory" box to enter contact details for your honoree so Shannon's Path can send them a special message of support for the big day!
#4 - Donate $26.20 for the special day
Help us mark the occasion by donating $26.20 to help support rare cancer research and fund integrative care.
Best of Luck from Shannon's Path!
The Shannon's Path team wishes all Boston Marathon runners the best of luck on Marathon Monday. No matter your team affiliation, we appreciate your efforts to support the causes closest to you. See you on Heartbreak Hill!
