Shannon’s Path is a family-run, organization dedicated to, inspired by, and in tribute to the legacy of Shannon H. McDonald. Shannon’s own life path was defined by her personal ethos; treat people well, show respect for all, and give back to those in need. These values helped her confront an incurable and rare cancer diagnosis, a path dealt by fate, in 2015 – appendiceal mucinous adenocarcinoma. Immediately inspired to outlast a 30-month life expectancy, Shannon’s courage, resiliency, and sheer determination led to a path that more than doubled that expected dire prognosis. Along the way, she taught so many how to confront life’s biggest challenges with grace, modesty and selflessness.
